From Steel to Wheels: The Cor‐o‐Van Buildings' Past, Present, and Future is a two‐ venue exhibition with works at the Potrero branch of the San Francisco Public Library (February 23 – April 25th) and at Farley’s Coffee (March 1st – April 3rd). Both venues provide fitting contexts for an exhibition about community, the spaces that foster community, and the buildings that teach us about our history.

The structures The structures that have inspired this exhibition consist of a metal shed (facing 16th and 17th near Mississippi) and a silver metal shed (facing both 16th and 17th and running alongside Mississippi Street) and a red brick building (facing 17th Street at Texas). These structures almost take up an entire city block, and all three buildings are associated with the largest steel making factory on the West Coast (once named Pacific Rolling Mill Co. and later named Judson -Pacific Murphy).

The time has been change of Steel buildings constructions in the improvements of methods and techniques used in them.
